Tuscola is a small Texas town of about 1,000 people located on US Highway 83, roughly 20 miles south of Abilene. The town sits in classic ranch country with rolling hills and mesquite trees under big skies. US 83 serves as the main route through town, connecting north to Abilene Regional Airport and south toward Ballinger. The historic Tuscola Cemetery contains graves of Taylor County's earliest settlers from the 1880s.
