Tusayan is the gateway town to Grand Canyon National Park, sitting just a mile from the South Rim entrance. Most visitors drive State Route 64 north from Interstate 40 at Williams (59 miles) or take US 180 from Flagstaff then connect to Route 64. The town has Tesla charging stations and sits at 6,612 feet elevation with cool summers and snowy winters. Vintage 1929 Ford Tri-Motor planes still offer scenic flights from the local airport.
