Turrell is a small Delta farming town in eastern Arkansas, about 45 miles west of Memphis via I-40 and Highway 77. The community of around 500 people sits amid the flat cotton and soybean fields typical of the Mississippi River Delta region. It's the birthplace of legendary blues harmonica player Sonny Boy Williamson II.
