Turner is a small farming town about 10 miles southeast of Salem on Highway 22. Most people reach it via I-5 Exit 248, then head east through flat agricultural land known for berry farms and nurseries. The highway continues toward popular Cascade Mountain destinations like Detroit Lake and Hoodoo Ski Area. Turner hosts an annual Strawberry Festival each June that celebrates the area's agricultural roots.
