Turner is a tiny rural community in eastern Michigan with just 86 residents, located in Arenac County between Saginaw Bay and the Huron National Forest. Most visitors reach it via M-61 east from Standish, or by taking US-23 north along Lake Huron then heading inland. The area sits in Michigan's agricultural-forest transition zone, where old farmsteads are scattered among maple and oak groves that create spectacular fall colors each October.
