Tulare sits along Highway 99 in California's Central Valley, about 40 miles southeast of Fresno. Most visitors arrive via SR-99 or take Highway 198 east toward Sequoia National Park. The city serves as an agricultural hub with dairy farms and orchards throughout the surrounding valley. Every February, the World Ag Expo turns Tulare into the world's largest agricultural trade show, drawing over 100,000 visitors.
