Tryon is a small Lincoln County town of 372 people, about 45 miles northeast of Oklahoma City via Highway 18. Most visitors arrive from Interstate 35 through Shawnee, though some come from Cushing to the north. The town sits on rolling Oklahoma prairie with hot summers and mild winters. Its historic 1902 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a testament to territorial-era education.
