Trumbull is a small farming town of 298 people in south-central Nebraska's Clay County. Highway 14 runs north-south through town, connecting to Hastings 15 miles north for shopping and services. Most trips involve local routes to Hastings or longer drives to Grand Island via US-6. The town sits in flat agricultural country with a restored 1920s grain elevator that still operates during harvest season.
