Troy is a small farming town in northwest Tennessee, just 15 miles from Kentucky on State Route 5. The main routes are SR-5 running north-south to Union City and SR-22 going east-west to neighboring communities. Most visitors arrive via US Highway 51 through Union City or Interstate 155 about 20 miles southeast. The restored 1920s movie theater downtown still shows weekend films.
