Trion is a small city in northwest Georgia's Chattooga County, about 45 miles from Chattanooga via US Highway 27. The town sits in the Appalachian foothills with a population around 2,000. Most visitors arrive on US 27 from I-75 near Calhoun, while State Route 48 provides east-west access. The city still operates one of Georgia's last municipal textile mills.
