Trinidad is a small East Texas town of about 800 people located 75 miles southeast of Dallas on US Highway 287. The main route connects it to Corsicana and Palestine, while Highway 31 provides access to Tyler and other regional destinations. Set in rolling hill country with a mix of farms and pine forests, the town developed around the railroad in the late 1800s. Its historic downtown square features the 1913 courthouse building that once served as Henderson County's primary courthouse.
