Trenton is a small South Carolina town of 258 people in Edgefield County, about 25 miles northeast of Augusta, Georgia. US Highway 25 runs north-south through town, connecting to Edgefield and continuing toward Greenwood, while State Route 121 provides the main east-west route. The town sits along the historic Charleston-to-Hamburg railroad corridor, once one of the world's longest rail lines when completed in the 1830s.
