Tracy is a Central Valley city about 60 miles east of San Francisco, connected by Interstate 205 and Highway 580. Most traffic flows west through Altamont Pass to Bay Area jobs, while I-5 provides north-south access. The city serves as both a commuter hub and traveler stop, with multiple EV charging stations near shopping areas. Tracy is home to West Valley Mall, one of the Central Valley's few remaining enclosed malls with its distinctive 1980s pyramid skylight.
