Tower City is a small farming town of about 300 people in southeastern North Dakota, 25 miles west of Fargo on Interstate 94. Highway 32 connects it north to Valley City and south toward South Dakota. The grain elevator dominates the skyline and can be spotted from the interstate, serving as a classic prairie landmark in the heart of North Dakota's wheat country.
