Toronto is a small farming town of 238 people in eastern South Dakota, just 15 miles from the Minnesota border. Located on US Highway 14, it's about 25 miles east of Brookings and connects easily to Sioux Falls via Highway 14 west. The town was named after Toronto, Canada, and still houses its original 1881 railroad depot.
