Toone is a tiny farming community in western Tennessee, about an hour northeast of Memphis via I-40 and Highway 18. The area sits among rolling cotton fields and timber stands typical of Hardeman County. Most visitors arrive on Highway 18 from Bolivar or Highway 125 from Middleton, while locals use these routes for daily trips to the county seat. The community was named after an early settler family whose general store anchored the area in the late 1800s.
