Toms Brook is a small Shenandoah Valley community right off I-81, about 75 miles west of D.C. and 20 miles south of Winchester. Most visitors come via I-81, with local access through Route 651. It's a quick 90-minute drive from the D.C. area via I-66 west to I-81 south. The town sits in rolling farmland with mountain views and is known as the site of an 1864 Civil War cavalry battle called the "Woodstock Races."
