Tivoli is a small Hudson River village in Dutchess County that's home to Bard College. Most visitors arrive via Route 9G from the Taconic Parkway, about 45 minutes from Albany or 90 minutes from NYC via Route 199. The village sits between the river and rolling hills, with limited services but easy access to the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. The Frank Gehry-designed Fisher Center at Bard College stands out dramatically against the traditional Hudson Valley scenery.
