Tiger is a tiny mountain town in northeast Georgia's Rabun County, sitting along US Highway 441 about 15 miles south of Clayton. The highway connects to Interstate 85 and Atlanta 90 miles southeast, while continuing north into North Carolina's mountains. Most visitors pass through heading to Tallulah Gorge or other Blue Ridge attractions. The town hosts Tiger Mountain Days each September, featuring an authentic corn shucking competition that's been a local tradition since 1988.
