Tiffin sits in north-central Ohio farm country, about 50 miles southeast of Toledo on US Route 224. Most visitors come from I-75 via Findlay or from the Ohio Turnpike through Fremont on Route 53. The city houses Heidelberg University and serves as Seneca County's seat, with the Sandusky River running through town. The Seneca Caverns offer underground tours in a limestone cave system that stays 54 degrees year-round.
