Tiffin is a growing bedroom community seven miles southwest of Iowa City via Highway 6, home to about 5,700 residents who often commute to the university or medical facilities. Most visitors arrive from Interstate 80 (Exit 240) or directly from Iowa City, with the regional airport 10 miles northeast. The town hosts an annual Sweet Corn Festival where volunteers serve over 1,200 dozen ears of local corn in one day.
