Tiburon sits on a peninsula in Marin County, across the Golden Gate from San Francisco. Take Highway 101 to the Tiburon Boulevard exit, then follow the winding road four miles east to downtown. The Mediterranean climate and bay setting make it popular for day trips from the city, about 30 minutes via the Golden Gate Bridge. Main Street ends at a small harbor where cormorants perch on wooden pilings.
