Thorsby is a small farming town in central Alabama, about 50 miles south of Birmingham on Interstate 65. Take Exit 205 to Highway 31 to reach the town center. Most traffic comes from Clanton (10 miles north) or continues toward Montgomery (45 miles southeast). The surrounding countryside features peach orchards and cotton fields. Thorsby proudly calls itself the "Peach Capital of Alabama."
