Thomasboro is a small farming community 15 miles north of Champaign along I-57. Take Exit 250 from the interstate to reach this town of about 900 people surrounded by corn and soybean fields. The restored 1906 wooden grain elevator, visible from I-57, remains one of the area's most recognizable landmarks.
