Texola is a tiny town of 22 people on Interstate 40 at the Oklahoma-Texas border, about 150 miles west of Oklahoma City. It sits on the historic Route 66 corridor in the rolling plains of western Oklahoma. The main draw is the restored 1930s Phillips 66 gas station that now serves as a Route 66 museum.
