Teviston is a small farming community in California's Central Valley, about 15 miles southeast of Porterville via Highway 65. This agricultural town of 1,200 sits amid citrus groves and cropland, with Highway 190 providing east-west access and Highway 65 connecting to the region's main routes. The community was founded in 1888 as a company town named after William Tevis.
