Terrell lies 30 miles east of Dallas along Interstate 20, making it an easy drive from the metroplex. Highway 34 and Highway 205 provide the main local connections, while Highway 80 cuts through downtown as the historic main street. The city houses the No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum in an original 1940s hangar where RAF pilots trained during World War II.
