Tekonsha is a farming community of 575 people in south-central Michigan, about 25 miles south of Battle Creek. Take I-94 to Exit 85, then M-60 east for 8 miles to reach the village. The town sits along the old Michigan Central Railroad route and features one of Michigan's oldest general stores, still operating from its original 1869 brick building.
