Tecumseh is a small Michigan city about 60 miles southwest of Detroit, accessible via I-94 west to US-12, then north on M-50. The town of 8,600 sits in farming country near the Ohio border, with M-50 running north-south through downtown and US-12 providing the main east-west connection. The restored 1866 Tecumseh Opera House still presents live shows in the historic downtown district.
