Tea is a growing suburb 15 miles south of Sioux Falls via Highway 17, easily accessible from I-29 Exit 73. Originally a farming community, it's become a popular residential area for commuters working in the Sioux Falls metro. The town got its quirky name from a general store that displayed tea advertisements so prominently that railroad workers started calling the stop "Tea."
