Taylor is a small borough in northeastern Pennsylvania's Lackawanna County, home to about 6,300 people. Located between Scranton and Old Forge along the Lackawanna River, it's easily reached via Interstate 81, which connects north to Scranton and south to Wilkes-Barre. The town sits in the Wyoming Valley's transportation corridor, with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport about 20 miles south. Taylor's distinctive 1920s municipal building uniquely houses both the borough offices and fire company under one roof.
