Tamarack is a 43-person community in central Minnesota's Aitkin County, reached via Highway 210 from Brainerd (35 miles) or Duluth (60 miles). The town sits on Tamarack Lake amid dense forests typical of Minnesota's lake country. Winter brings ice fishing and snowmobiling, while summer draws boaters and anglers.
