Talala is a small Rogers County town of 300 people, located 25 miles northeast of Tulsa via Highway 169 north to Claremore, then Highway 20 northeast. The town sits in rolling prairie country where cattle once traveled the historic Texas Road trail system to Kansas markets in the 1800s.
