Tabor is a farming town of 877 people in southwestern Iowa, about 20 miles from the Nebraska border. Highway 2 runs east-west through town, connecting to Red Oak and Nebraska City, while County Road M16 provides north-south access. The 1894 Tabor Opera House anchors the historic downtown and still hosts live theater productions.
