Swepsonville is a small Piedmont town along the Haw River, about 30 minutes north of Durham via I-85. Take Exit 145 to NC 119 for the town center. The area features rolling hills and river valleys typical of central North Carolina. The old mill dam creates a waterfall visible from the highway bridge.
