Swansboro is a small coastal town in southeastern North Carolina where the White Oak River meets Bogue Sound. Located 20 miles southwest of Jacksonville on NC-24, it's a popular stop for travelers heading to Crystal Coast beaches via NC-58 South. The historic downtown features colonial-era buildings, and locals still call it the "Friendly City by the Sea."
