Swall Meadows is a small high desert community in Mono County, reached via US Highway 395 through the Owens Valley. The unincorporated town sits at 4,000 feet between the Sierra Nevada and White Mountains, about 30 miles north of Bishop and 15 miles from Mammoth Yosemite Airport. The community gets its name from the natural meadows that create green patches across the high desert landscape.
