Superior sits at Wisconsin's northwestern tip on Lake Superior, forming a twin port city with Duluth across the bay. I-35 runs north-south through town from the Twin Cities, while US-2 connects east-west to Ashland and Michigan. The Bong Bridge links directly to Duluth. Most visitors drive up I-35 from Minneapolis, about 150 miles south. The massive grain elevators along the harbor stretch over 200 feet high and can be seen for miles.
