Sunwest is a tiny desert community of 45 people in remote La Paz County, about 20 miles northwest of Quartzsite via Highway 95. Most visitors pass through on routes between Phoenix and the Colorado River valley. The harsh Sonoran Desert setting offers complete isolation with no commercial services, making it a true off-grid experience where residents live among creosote bush and rocky washes in one of Arizona's most sparsely populated areas.
