Sunrise Beach is a small lakeside town on the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri. Reach it via Highway 5 from Interstate 70 (45 minutes north) or US Highway 54 from Jefferson City (30 miles). The community of 400 sits where Ozark hills meet the lake's northern arm, offering a quieter alternative to busier lake destinations. Sunrise Beach Marina provides one of the few public boat ramps with courtesy docks on this section of the lake.
