Sun Valley is a tiny incorporated community of 49 people in northeastern Texas near the Oklahoma border. Located about 15 miles northeast of Paris via Highway 137, it's reachable from Dallas in two hours via US 380 and US 271. The area features rolling countryside with pastures and mixed forests typical of East Texas. Sun Valley holds the distinction of being one of Texas's smallest incorporated municipalities.
