Summerfield is a tiny Noble County village of 149 people in southeastern Ohio's rolling hills. Take I-77 to Exit 25 at Caldwell, then follow Route 821 northwest for 8 miles through scenic farmland. The area features typical Appalachian foothills terrain with mixed forests and pastoral landscapes. Route 821 serves as the main connection to Caldwell and the interstate system for longer trips. The village once had a one-room schoolhouse that operated for over 80 years.
