Summerfield is an unincorporated community in Guilford County, about 20 miles north of Greensboro via US Highway 220. The area sits in North Carolina's Piedmont region with rolling hills and suburban neighborhoods. US 220 provides the main north-south access, while State Route 150 runs east-west toward Oak Ridge and Winston-Salem. Piedmont Triad International Airport is about 25 miles southeast. The community features Summerfield Farms, a golf course development designed by Davis Love III.
