Sumas is a small farming town near the Canadian border, reached via State Route 9 from I-5 Exit 260. Popular with cross-border travelers heading to the Huntingdon crossing, it's surrounded by berry farms and dairy operations in the Fraser River valley. The old Great Northern Railway depot downtown now houses the community center and local museum.
