Sturgis sits in South Dakota's Black Hills, about 30 miles northwest of Rapid City via I-90 and Highway 14A. The town connects to Deadwood (12 miles) and Spearfish (15 miles) along Highway 85, with Highway 34 heading west to Wyoming.
