Sturgis is a tiny Mississippi community of about 128 people in Oktibbeha County, reached via Highway 25 about 15 miles southeast of Starkville. Most visitors arrive from Starkville or use Highway 25 as a connector between larger towns like Meridian to the south. The town still operates its own post office despite its small size.
