Streetman is a tiny farming community in east-central Texas, about 75 miles south of Dallas via I-45 and Highway 14. The town of 220 sits in Freestone County's rolling countryside, surrounded by cotton fields and cattle pastures. Highway 14 connects it to Corsicana and Palestine, while Farm Road 833 serves local agricultural areas. The community was named after early settlers who ran the original general store and post office.
