Strawn is a small Texas town of 525 people located 80 miles west of Fort Worth on US Highway 180. Most visitors reach it via Interstate 20, taking Exit 367 at Ranger and driving north 8 miles on Highway 16. The town sits in rolling hill country and is famous as the birthplace of six-man football in Texas, where the legendary Strawn Pirates won multiple state championships in the 1920s.
