Strawberry is a small Arkansas town of 285 people in Lawrence County, sitting along the Spring River in the state's northeastern hills. Highway 63 runs north-south through town, connecting to Pocahontas and Newport, while Highway 25 provides east-west access. Most visitors arrive via Highway 63 from US Highway 412 to the north or Interstate 40 at Newport to the south. The town was named for wild strawberries that early settlers found growing along the river bottomlands.
