Strathcona is a tiny farming town of 34 people in far northwestern Minnesota, near the Canadian border. Take Highway 11 from Grand Forks (45 miles west) or Roseau (15 miles northwest). It's one of Minnesota's smallest incorporated cities, somehow maintaining its own municipal government with fewer residents than most apartment buildings.
